wow! its been nearly 2 months since Ive posted - sorry! Things have been so busy. Here is whats going on with the Loth's
Big Daddy: He is working out very faithfully since before Christmas and has some big muscles :) He will turn 29 this month - ooooooold ;) (he is 6mos older than me so I can say that!)
Family: We are expecting! Blessing #4 is due August 15. The kids are thrilled although I think the boys are sick of waiting. K keeps asking me "when your baby coming out?" :) I am 14 weeks. We will find out the gender on March 17 - St Patties day! :)
Me: I am doing fine, staying busy homeschooling and keeping everyone happy :) I am doing a Beth Moore bible study (Daniel) right now and Im really enjoying it, I love really getting into the Word. We have gone to one car for the family so we are staying home more but its actually been really good, Ive been getting a lot done, and its been very peaceful. We still get together with friends and my cousin every week and attend the young moms group at church when we can. Im still doing a little on the side with my business making bracelets, sewing, etc. and Im tutoring math still as well which I enjoy.
N: School is going well (we will start 1st grade with him in the Fall). His writing is really coming along and he is reading SO well. He blows us away. He got Adventures in Odyssey on CD for Christmas and he listens to those every single day - he loves them! The sweetest things come out of this child's mouth, he just has the biggest heart. For Christmas he used a gift card he had gotten for his birthday to buy his brother a really cool present. We were so proud of him. Currently he is saving his money to buy him something for his birthday. Our cousins cat recently passed away and he offered it to her to help her buy a new one. He is just such a kind, kind boy. We do have to remind him often that he isnt a grown up and he isnt in charge - but I think thats par for the course at 5 :)
K Bear: He is a sweetheart as usual. Still our cuddler. His speech is continuing to improve. We have begun a book with him that will help him learn to read - we started today and he did great! It starts out very slow with sounds and he enjoyed it. He can now spell his name, is practicing writing it and can nearly count to 20 on his own. He is a blessing to watch with his sister - so sweet to her (most of the time). They love to be silly and giggle together.
JJ: Our princess. Her emotions get the best of her sometimes recently - this is a phenomenom that I have to explain to daddy quite often. If she stands at the pantry more than 5 secs trying to get your attention she sometimes will just collapse on the floor and sob, face-down. Life is so horrible when you are 19 mos ;) Sometimes she just puts her hands on her face and cries when she is tired and cant get her point across - its just about the cutest thing Ive ever seen. She still doesnt talk a whole lot although she is very good at communciating. She has about 13 words she uses consistently and still does some sign language as well (she can hear an airplane a mile away!) She is now officially weaned from breastfeeding (exactly 19 mos to the day), sleeping in her own toddler bed and through the night (yay!) and going down to sleep easily and alone at night - big accomplishments that have all happened in the last month or so. She also uses the potty once or twice each day (at her own requests) :)
We have been praying about a move back to California to be with our families. I am painfully homesick as I get ready to become an auntie for the first time. So far the Lord hasnt given us clear direction though so we will wait on His perfect time! For now we are thankful and enjoying this beautiful TX weather - lots of sunshine lately! :)
