Noah and the ER

well....he made it 7 mos since his last visit! *sigh* (this would be trip #6!!!!)

yesterday afternoon he jumped off his bed (they have kids lofts from Ikea) and hurt his ankle. He still couldnt put weight on it today and crawled or hopped around all day (which was funny LOL). Otherwise he was fine, not in a lot of pain, just bored having to sit a lot.

So Steve came home early to take him to the urgent care clinic. They think he dislocated his ankle so they sent them, xray in hand, to the Childrens Hosptial ER. So now they are there waiting and waiting and waiting........

I am thankful that if he needs a bone popped back into place they sent him to the experts. Hopefully thats all it is! I will update......

UPDATE: They waited in the ER for over 5hrs. They did another set of xrays and couldnt see any fractures. so he has a stiff boot/brace that goes to his knee for him to wear until its better. I guess its just a strain? Poor Steve and Noah didnt eat dinner until nearly midnight and got home shortly after that. We are all just a bit tired! But we are very thankful that he doesnt need a cast - thank you Lord! Just another day with Noah......

The Boy's last Swim Lessons

Today was the last day of swim lessons for the spring session. It was the first time Caleb had been in any kind of formal swim lesson and it had been 3+yrs for Noah. They both learned a lot and did so well! since we may move soon we didnt enroll them for summer but we'll be working with them ourselves when we can.

Happy 4th Birthday!!!!!

Our K-bear turned 4 today.......time goes by so quickly!

The boys had swim lessons then we went to ToysRUs to spend the $$ that auntie Sarah and Uncle G sent. He chose a lion and a batman car :) Then they got the special treat of some orange juice at ChickFilA before heading home for lunch. We opened presents after quiet time - the rollerblades and gear is from Nana - and played and played until dinner. After dinner we had cake! Caleb was so excited that the eye was an M&M :)
